Happy Thanksgiving!

So, Thanksgiving happens to be one of my favorite holidays. Its the perfect excuse to eat good food and spend time with family. I Love it. Thanksgiving also helps me appreciate all the things I have been blessed with in my life...something I'm not the best at recognizing most of the time. And I could list a lot of those things for you here, but to be honest-I don't feel like it. maybe cuz its personal, maybe cuz I couldn't possibly list everything...BUT I will say I am so Thankful for my family. All of them. Particularly all of those pictured below [and the new additions since]. Holler for Family!!

A Quote to Live By

I haven't much felt like blogging lately, but I felt like sharing this:

"Well, what I learned in Chile is that we are never more alone than when we are on our computers or stuck in traffic, and we are never more connected than when we are present where we are. And it is impossible not to be present in a place like Patagonia."

Costa Rica-Day 5

Wednesday October 14, 2009:

We didn't do anything this day. No really. We have no pictures...and we didn't schedule anything. We just lounged. Well...except for when I decided we should walk down to this other beach by following this trail off the side of the road. We didn't wear our swimsuits. Big mistake. Most Humid Experience Yet. It was nice, but not as beautiful as the other beaches we'd visited so far. Luckily we saw some rare Costa Rican Chickens which made it all worth it. :)

So here's a cool picture of the "mist" when it rained one afternoon. [It may have even been that afternoon...it was taken after we visited the National Park, and before Thursday...and it rained every afternoon. Does this make me a horrible person?] Anyway, something to appease your picture needs.
