Don't try this at home folks!
So approximately 5 minutes ago, Shawn and I attempted to pretend like we were on So You Think You Can Dance [a show we watch consistently, and I love, and makes me want to be a dancer!] We were doing a cool lift move...were Shawn was carrying me and spinning. He thought my leg as on the ground [but it wasn't!] so he let go of my other leg, consequently my arm slid off his neck and my whole left side went crashing smashing into the ground!! Shawn wouldn't let me move and made me follow his stupid finger around...when really all I had was a little rug-burn on my elbow! And then I laughed for a good minute or so and decided I had to blog about it Right now. Oh goodness it was so funny. Life Rocks.
So remember Bahka Bahka Bahka Bah....So you THINK you can Dance.

July quite possibly could be one of our Favorite Months in the Year...
Wow! July has flown by!! So much has happened...and I don't think we took any pictures. haha. We really need to be better on that front. Thanks goodness for Shawn's cellphone, or we really wouldn't have any pictures.
4th of July-
Shawn and I had a great 4th! This is one of my favorite holidays. Its always so exciting and fun. We stayed in Kaysville this year, which was different for me. I've been going to Idaho for the past 10 years or more. We got up and went to the City Breakfast with my parents and then watched the Parade with Shawn's family.
This is Shawn's Dad-he fell asleep watching the parade. I think he can fall asleep anywhere.
We ran up to my parents and went swimming in their new portable/inflatable pool. I was surprised at how much fun we had doing that! Then it was back to the Brock's for a barbeque with Kerry's famous ribs.
This is Lucy at the BBQ wearing Shawn's new Patagonia hat. Shawn absolutely loves this picture.
Then it was over to the fireworks. It was a fun little surprise to find that our families were sitting maybe 20 feet apart, totally on accident, so we were able to visit with both and I was finally able to compare Lucy and Adah. I think their mom's finally believe me that they really are different in size! Ahh. And the fireworks. I love them. Love Love Love them.
7/11...Our 2nd Anniversary-
I decided Shawn and I love to spoil ourselves, and an anniversary is the perfect time for that! We just had a relaxing day, getting things done around the apartment. We did some shopping and I got some adorable shoes and cute clothes. Shawn was even able to convince me to buy some high heels. That afternoon we went up the The University Marriott for the night. We checked in and went swimming. Then we got ready, I got all dolled up in my new clothes and we went out to eat downtown at Takashi [I hope I'm spelling that right...] for some fabulous sushi. Mmm it really was great! and the perfect amount of food. We had a wonderful time discussing all the things we've done together over the past 2 years.
This is the only decent picture I got of us on our Anniversary [and its blurry!] Shawn might have some better ones--I hope he does.
Harry Potter 6!
No July is complete without a Harry Potter Movie!
We had a barbeque with our friends--Thanks to Carla and Matt for letting us party at their new house. And we played with Sparklers [yes, I pretended one was my wand] It was a blast and so fun to go to the Midnight Showing. I loved the movie. It was very well done, and hilarious I might add. I now have the uncontrollable desire to read all the Harry Potter books from start to finish. I have so many wonderful Harry Potter memories, especially ones at midnight...
River Rafting-

And the last run of the trip--it Was AMAZING! Ok. Really I'm done with the Rafting Section.
Okay, so I don't really have any more sections. Sorry this is such a super long post. But I do have to say, hooray for family!! My Mom and my Sister both have birthday's in July [happy b-day ladies if you're reading this] and well. I'm just grateful for both of our families--they are so wonderful. I'm so glad that we enjoy just being with them.
Woot! Happy July!!

River Rafting-
Ahh. Food for the soul. River rafting is one of my favorite things. I don't even know how long I've been doing it, but it is a must for every summer. We were able to go up with my family this last weekend. Oh Love. It was great!! We go up on the Snake River in between Alpine and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I don't even know what else to say about it. There are no words. The smell of the river, the gorgeous mountains, good company, hard work, the rush of excitement, the huge waves staring you right in the face, the relief, cold water, warm sunshine, the afternoon wind...I think its all apart of me. I wish I were there now.
Haha! It worked! There is a company called Float-O-Graphs that takes pictures while you hit the big rapids and then you can buy them. This is a picture of us the first run of the weekend on Friday morning.

No, I'm not Dead...but I did get in a Car Accident.
On June 10, I got in a wreck. It wasn't very serious--don't worry. I think I may have broken my heart, just because I was forced to abandon one of my best friends. But. Ah. That's not all Folks! That same day we went and looked at a house...and put an offer on it! And they accepted it--Woot! And then it appraised low...and so now it's in a "Short Sale" situation. Which means, we have a tentative offer, but don't know if the bank will accept it, so we're still "Looking" to see if we can find something else that isn't a Short Sale (if we're lucky). But, it feels like there is nothing new coming on the market. And the car...we're looking for another car. Honestly--it feels like we can't find anything we both agree on. If Shawn likes something, I don't. If I like something, Shawn doesn't. Its horrible. We finally found a car we both went "Hmm?!" but it's not a practical purchase, so we'll continue looking. So, basically I feel like I'm constantly looking at Cars and Houses and not finding anything. Is it so horrible to want something that is good quality, for a good reasonable price? I guess I'm just venting while explaining here. Needless to say-- We've been busy the passed few weeks.
