Happy Thanksgiving!

In honor of Thanksgiving tomorrow, all week I have been thinking about what I am Thankful for. It may not be much, but I'm grateful.

Sunday
I'm thankful for my Mom. For her wisdom, insight, and encouragement.

Monday
I'd be crazy if I didn't mention my love for sleep! I love sleeping in and falling asleep and dreaming and how my body magically heals itself while I sleep. Sleep also allows me to wake up every morning next to the man that I love and for that--I will be forever grateful.

Tuesday
Today, I was particularly grateful for my intuitive Husband, which allowed me to practice Yoga...Something that brought me great joy, an ever increasing appreciation for good health, encouraging me to keep it up.

Wednesday
Some days its hard to find things that you're grateful for...The conclusion I came up with is relatively simple. I am so thankful for my friends. All of the ones I've made over the years, the new ones, and the ones I'm able to re-connect with--no matter how long it has been.

Thursday
I LOVE Thanksgiving. It is probably my favorite holiday! So, although it technically hasn't happened yet...I'm thankful for Good Food and Family. Because lets be honest-That's what this holiday is all about!!

Weekend Fun

I've felt like blogging for a while, but just haven't felt like sitting down to do it, and sometimes I don't always know what to say. Some blogs are beautifully written. I don't have that gift. So here it goes.
Friday we went up to Park City with some friends. Shawn and I had some time to kill, and we discovered backcountry.com's office. Shawn decided this was like Mecca, and he needed his picture taken. Once again, Cell phone camera's are amazing. Without them, we would have absolutely no pictures.
Then, On Saturday, we judged a Debate competition. Shawn used to be a big debate guy, Mr. President and all. It was a new experience for me, and totally different than I expected. I would consider doing it again, IF I didn't have to get up so early. Because we were up by the Parents, we spent some time at both households. We got to watch Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D, for about 10 minutes, before it gave us a headache, and we switched to normal Movie Mode. Check out our Coolness.
Shawn absolutely hated the movie, but I enjoyed it. It was fun and light hearted. We had a super-mello weekend. It was nice to re-coop.

All Up In Mel's Business...

So I'm not quite ".. up in your grill..."
But it's a tribute to my love for Mel's fender.

Our Baby

Let me introduce you to....Our new baby! Its a Mammut SuperSafe 10.2 mm Climbing Rope. Its our Christmas Present this year, but the Stork came early.
We ordered it online weeks ago using a sweet REI discount, but it has been on back-order...Shawn just happened to be perusing the store and found the rope, OUR rope. It may just be the last rope of its kind in any REI store anywhere (as there is a company-wide back-order). Shawn talked with the employees at REI and found a way to bring our baby home Tuesday night. We are so excited! Shawn especially...he keeps taking it out, looking at it, holding it, etc. It is a beautiful rope. I think we may be in love.

SNOW!!!

Shawn was kind enough to notify me of the snow this morning by jumping on the bed chanting, "It Snowed!!" The picture is from my Office window, it might not be the greatest, but Trust me--its a blizzard out there! It went from Fall to well...Hello Christmas!
