Well Hello!

As a house warming gift last fall, my mom bought me tulip bulbs and helped me plant them in the flowerbed right in front of our house. I had no idea what else would be growing in that flowerbed, but it turned out all right. It has been so exciting to watch these little flowers bloom. They're absolutely gorgeous! [and I have to admit...I thought the tulips were a strange house warming gift...but now I love how they make our house, our yard, feel like home.] Every time I looke at them I can't help but think-"Those are my flowers! That I planted! and they're Beautiful!!" So, thanks Mom for a little bit of "home" insight :) Hooray for flowers and Spring!

27 weeks, General Conference, and a Snow storm

As of last Friday I'm officially 27 weeks and entering my 3rd Trimester. Wow. The time as just flown! Everyone says I'm small, but I feel huge...and can't imagine getting bigger...except that I know I will over the next 3 months. I'm definitely in that "nesting" stage. All I can think about is getting the house ready for when our little boy comes. We've been working on the nursery as of late. I think Shawn is ready to kill me over my indecision with the paint color. Hopefully it will all turn out alright--I'm still fretting over it.

It was General Conference this weekend. I loved it. I always love General Conference, but sometimes I pay more attention then others... I felt like so many of the talks were answers to prayers. I am so Thankful for a Heavenly Father who is aware of me, and my needs...and provides someone to tell me what I need to know. I would be so lost otherwise. I'm such a frail, insecure human being. I hope you had a wonderful weekend--and that Easter was beautiful. What a wonderful, hope-instilling holiday.

Right now it's snowing. Snowing more beautifully then it did all winter in my opinion. It's kind of funny that it's snowing in April, after Easter. I'd probably be mad any other year, but today I'm comforted by it. It just feels right somehow. Like this is the snow storm we waited for all season, but it never came...until tonight...just a little late. Maybe I'm just feeling sentimental because I fee like time is passing to quickly, and the snow is taking me back in time, to winter, so I can make this experience last just a little longer. It can't possibly be spring just yet. When Spring comes and goes it will be summer and our baby will be here. I am not ready for that just yet, on pretty much every level.

Did I mention life is good? Really good. Despite my crazed mind. I'm so grateful for my life...I feel so blessed.
