I caved...We got iPhones

They came Friday. (After a VERY long wait) Shawn is super excited. So excited in fact that Saturday morning I woke up to this excited face...and Celine Dion "Its All Coming Back to Me Now" playing from his iPhone. (Because of course every one loves to her Celine Dion at 9am on a Saturday) I did my best to roll over and go back to sleep...but who can resist an iPhone. Even I think mine is awesome! (Now that I'm starting to get used to it)

Better Late Than Never!

Lucy is here! She finally made it! Carly had the baby at 1:23 am this morning. She was 6 lbs 12 oz, and looks like a doll. We can't wait to meet her...

Today I miss things...

I miss our first apartment
I miss wandering around campus
I miss the freedom of being able to go outside whenever I want
I miss being done with school at 2:30 in the afternoon (this working til 6pm stuff is hard!)
I miss feeling like I can stay up late and sleep in (and not be affected!)
To be honest...I miss lots of things
My poor sentimental heart can't take it

It's been a rough day.

It was a Thursday

A night not unlike Tonight

It was warm...especially for February

There was a wind storm

The location: Baers Canyon

I loved playing in the wind--We were having a blast

I told him "I'm going to remember this night for the rest of my life."

We gazed at the beautiful city lights

I was completely unaware

and then...

There was a "Will you Marry Me?"

Complete shock, then a self thought--"Tell him yes, You told him you would say Yes!"

The never ending argument began: Which came first? The Yes, or The Kiss?

The ring was beautiful

The evening was perfect

There are no pictures

Only Memories.

It truly will be a night that I remember for the rest of my life...

It's been 2 years ago today, and I would say Yes again in a heart beat (especially on a night like tonight)

Surprise!!

My sister-in-law Brooke had a baby Girl today! It was a total surprise as she wasn't due for another month or so. I'm at work and still waiting on details of everything that happened, but here is a picture my Brother sent to me via text. We're so excited to welcome her into our family!!

Shawn went on a business trip this week to LA. He just got home...and this is the present he brought me.

I love soap. Apparently this is the best. There are 6 flavors in my box. Lemon Verbena, Fresh Cut Flowers, Lavender & Violet, Almond Cold Cream, Natural Oatmeal, Rosemary & Tarragon. They smell delicious and are so cute!! Happy Early Valentine's Day to me!
