We had the opportunity to carpool with my Sister and her daughter. Shawn rode in the back seat with Em, and you can see how excited she was about that!

When we got to Idaho, we headed over to ISU's campus to participate in a newly formed tradition of setting up a Slip N Slide.
Its a blast, and I did my best to smile for the camera!
Em even went down, with a little help and support from her good cousin Lexi. She kept shouting "Again Again--This Fun."
I couldn't help posting this. My dad is so cute. He didn't go down, but he helped take lots of fun pictures.

And well, this picture was taken by Shawn while we were there...because when have you ever seen a sign that says a Dog Lease is NOT required??This was only one small portion of our weekend, but I wanted to share it. It was great to watch a parade, barbeque, watch fireworks (and get hit in the face with ash b/c you were so close), and most importantly spend time with family and friends. The weekend was over too quickly, but that's okay. There's always next year!
